Ray Zhang

Ray Zhang began their work experience in 2013 as a Software Developer at Mundipharma Australia, where they focused on full-stack development using PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3. In 2014, they worked as a Software Developer at Amplify, maintaining webjet.com.au and Jameshardie websites. From 2015 to 2016, they served as a Senior Developer and Technical Lead at Excite Digital Media, managing infrastructure on AWS and using LEMP stack for backend development. Ray later worked as a Full Stack Developer and Technical Lead at Questa Search Technologies in 2016, where they managed AWS infrastructure with PUPPET. From 2017 to 2019, they held a position as a Senior Software Engineer at DSYNC, focusing on DevOps and building system connectors. Currently, they are employed at THE ICONIC as a Senior Software Engineer, primarily working on refactoring and rebuilding authentication and authorization systems.

Ray Zhang completed their Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Processing (Computer Science) at South China Normal University from 2005 to 2009. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Wollongong between the years 2009 and 2011. In June 2019, Ray obtained additional certifications including "Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services," "Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation," and "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" from Coursera.
