Alastair Jamieson is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles across various prominent media organizations. Currently serving as Deputy News Editor at The Independent since March 2020, Alastair previously worked as Digital Editor at Euronews and as a Casual News Editor for PA Media. Alastair's career includes significant positions at NBC News as Editor/Writer in the London bureau, and various roles at Telegraph Media Group and The Scotsman. Alastair holds a degree from The University of Edinburgh, obtained between 1996 and 2000.
