Steve McQuillan currently serves as CEO of Avingtrans plc since October 2008 and holds several executive positions, including Chairman of Magnetica Limited and Non-Executive Director at Adaptix Ltd. Steve has also been a Trustee Director at The Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade since January 2019 and previously held non-executive roles at EEF and UKAEA from 2010 to 2016. Prior to these roles, Steve was Managing Director of Serco and the National Physical Laboratory, and Managing Director of the Superconductivity Division at Oxford Instruments. Steve began their career as Sales Director at MARCONI INSTRUMENTS LTD. Steve earned a BSc with 1st Class honors in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
