Kartik Anand

Kartik Anand is a Hematologist/Oncologist currently leading the Hematology/Oncology division at The Iowa Clinic since January 2025. Prior to this role, Kartik served at Mission Cancer + Blood as a Hematologist/Oncologist from May 2023 to January 2025 and was the Medical Director of Medical Oncology and Hematology at Great Plains Health from July 2019 to May 2023. Kartik’s earlier experience includes work as a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist at Great Plains Health, a Research Fellow at Houston Methodist in immunology research from July 2016 to July 2019, and completing a residency in Internal Medicine at LSU Health Shreveport from July 2013 to June 2016. Education includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, earned from August 2006 to July 2012.
