Sheila Aguilar has held various roles in different organizations over the years. At Advocate Health Care, Sheila served as a Coordinator, Lead Patient Access Specialist, and Patient Access Specialist in the Imaging and Children's Registration Department from July 2008 to May 2014. Currently, at Joint Commission since January 2014, Sheila holds the position of Associate Project Director for Clinical Quality Informatics. In this role, Sheila leads team-based projects focused on the identification, specification, testing, and implementation of national standardized electronic performance measures for various care settings and clinical areas. Sheila collaborates with other staff in developing electronic measures specifications and defining value sets in standard vocabularies.
