Alissa Umansky

Alissa Umansky is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product design and user experience. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Product Design at The Knot Worldwide since January 2020, Alissa previously held the same title at General Assembly, where significant improvements were made to the MyGA digital learning platform. Alissa's career includes roles such as Director of Product Design and Associate Creative Director at R/GA, where Alissa focused on complex digital platforms and successful campaigns for a global athletics brand. Earlier positions include Art Director at Publicis Modem and Nurun, contributing to the design of various digital experiences and branding projects. Alissa began the career as a Designer at Drumbeat Digital and has collaborated with notable agencies such as Tribal DDB and Wieden+Kennedy. Alissa holds a BFA in Graphic Design and Art History from Washington University in St. Louis.
