Jessye Herrell

Jessye Herrell is an accomplished professional in youth and community development, currently serving as the Director of Youth and Community Development Programs at The Knowledge House, where a new digital literacy and workforce development vertical has been established to support low-income, first-generation, and immigrant communities. Previous roles include Associate Director of Program Design and Implementation and Manager of Curricula and Instruction, with demonstrated achievements in program design, data-driven improvements, and significant increases in instructional satisfaction. Background in education includes leadership positions at Tech Kids Unlimited, where participation in tech development programs for neurodiverse learners was tripled, and various teaching roles across arts and media organizations. Jessye holds a Master of Arts in Youth Studies from CUNY School of Professional Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production from Emerson College.
