Miki Stricker-Talbot

Miki Stricker-Talbot is an accomplished leader in the fields of social innovation, event management, and community development. Currently serving as Executive Director at Volunteer Alberta and as a Global Fellow with The League of Intrapreneurs, Miki drives change and fosters collaborative cultures within organizations. Previous experience includes facilitating Unlearning workshops at the School for Social Entrepreneurs Canada, and holding various strategic roles at the City of Edmonton, where Miki facilitated systems change and managed the city’s hospitality destinations. Miki also has a strong background in executing high-profile events, having served as Supervisor of Special Events for the City of Toronto and Festival Director for the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival, which showcased significant creative programming and attracted hundreds of thousands of attendees. Additionally, Miki co-founded the Calgary International Fringe Theatre Festival, solidifying a commitment to the arts and community engagement.
