Maemalynn Nokdhes Meanor is an accomplished communications professional with a robust background in public relations and marketing, currently serving as a Member of the Editorial Advisory Committee at SHARE Association and as the Director of Public Relations & Communications at The Linux Foundation since April 2016. At The Linux Foundation, Maemalynn has led communications for various open source projects, focusing on diverse topics such as edge computing and IoT. Additional involvement includes membership on the Planning Committee for Making our Strong Community Stronger and the Steering Committee for the Software Developer Diversity and Inclusion Project. With freelancing experience in PR and marketing, Maemalynn has honed skills in generating content and managing social media strategies, alongside previous roles at GOLIN and Cramer-Krasselt, where strategic communication and community engagement were paramount. Maemalynn holds a Master’s degree in Creative Writing from Lacrosse University and a Bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in Communications from Le Moyne College.
