Miralem Desic

Miralem Desic is an experienced professional currently serving as an Assistant Project Manager at The LiRo Group since October 2022. Previously, Miralem worked as an Environmental Scientist at Athenica Environmental Services, Inc., where responsibilities included performing XRF inspections and conducting lead and asbestos risk assessments. Additional experience includes roles as a Keyholder at Theory, a Laboratory Assistant at the Advanced Science Research Center, and a GIS Research Assistant at the NYC Department of Sanitation, where Miralem contributed to spatial analysis for waste management efficiency. Miralem also has experience in customer service and retail with companies such as adidas and Michael Kors. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety at CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy, Miralem holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Hunter College and a high school diploma from Validus Preparatory Academy.
