Richard Countis

Richard Countis has extensive experience in editorial and writing roles within the fields of communications and publishing. Currently serving as an Editor/Writer in the Marketing Department at The LiRo Group since April 2016, Richard assists in the creation of marketing materials, copywrites and edits resumes for engineers and architects, and collaborates on corporate marketing documents for high-value client bids. Prior to this role, Richard held a Copy Editor position at Worldwide Branding Publishing, where work included editing biographies and press releases. Additional experience includes positions as Copy Desk Chief and Managing Editor at The Journal News and Fairchild Publications, respectively, showcasing a strong background in editing, supervising staff, and maintaining editorial quality across various media platforms. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Journalism from LIU Post.
