Jenny Shen is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where research focuses on improving outcomes for the chronic dialysis population, with interests in racial and ethnic disparities, peritoneal dialysis, and medication use. Additionally, Jenny serves as a Nephrology Fellow at Stanford University Medical Center, conducting outcomes research linked to chronic dialysis, including projects on heparin dosing and peritoneal dialysis technique failure. Previous experience includes residency at UCLA Health System, analyzing transplant outcomes data, and a research assistant role at the National University of Singapore focused on allergy immunotherapy. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Epidemiology from Stanford University, a Doctor of Medicine from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, and an A.B. in Chemistry from Harvard University.
