Michelina Iacovino is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of biomedical innovation, currently serving as Associate Professor at The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center since July 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Professor at Harbor UCLA Medical Center from August 2012 to July 2020, and as Principal Investigator at The Lundquist Institute from 2012 to 2014. Michelina held a Research Assistant Professorship at the University of Minnesota from July 2008 to July 2012, alongside postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas from June 2004 to July 2008. Education includes a PhD in Applied Biochemistry and Chemistry from the University of Molise, where also obtained a Laurea in Science and Food Technology.
