Robert Johnston's work experience includes various leadership roles in operations management. Robert began their career at DuPont, where they served as a Project Manager before becoming a Spandex Plant Manager. In 2004, they joined INVISTA and held multiple positions, including Site Manager, Global Spandex Restructuring Manager, and Global Spandex Operations Technical Director. Robert then served as the Director of Asia Apparel Operations Optimization before becoming the Site Manager at the QingPu Site in Shanghai. In 2017, they joined The LYCRA Company as a Site Manager, eventually progressing to Americas Regional Operations Director and Vice President of Global Operations. Currently, they hold the role of Executive Vice President, Global Operations at The LYCRA Company.
Robert Johnston attended Queen's University Belfast from 1985 to 1990, where they pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics.
