Established in 1980, The Mercury is The University of Texas at Dallas' one and only student-run newspaper, flagshipping student body voices and interests with the latest breaking news, entertainment, opinions, sports and research. 

We have received numerous national industry awards over the years, including CMA’s “Best Newspaper of the Year” in 2021 and “Best Campus Engagement” in 2023. We are leaders in design and local journalism, and we’re always bringing the latest to our fellow students.
