Karen M. Giaco

Karen M. Giaco, MS, PMP, currently serves as the Manager of the Enterprise Program Management Office at The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH, since April 2019. In addition to this role, Karen has been a Committee Director for the Project Management Institute - NEO since 2017, overseeing logistics for organizational meetings and educational events. Prior experience includes positions as SCC Project Manager with University Hospitals, and Manager of Home Nutrition Support at Cleveland Clinic, where responsibilities encompassed managing personnel and operations, leading collaborative projects, and identifying revenue opportunities. Earlier career roles include managing clinical nutrition operations at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital, where Karen significantly improved audit scores and implemented quality initiatives. Karen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from John Carroll University and a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from The University of Akron.
