Evan Schlecker oversees MORGAN’s East Coast division. Evan’s responsibilities include day-to-day management of the regional office including development and construction as well as developing new equity relationships.
Since joining MORGAN in 2012, Evan has been involved in the development of over 2,000 units at a cost in excess of $500M. Prior to joining MORGAN, Evan co-founded BlueRoot Partners to take advantage of opportunities acquiring distressed real estate. Evan began his career at Torchlight Investors (f/k/a ING Clarion) restructuring non-performing commercial real estate.
Evan holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in real estate and finance. Evan is an accredited LEED professional and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
