Karen Swager serves as the Executive Vice President of Operations at The Mosaic Company since October 2004, having held various senior leadership positions including Senior Vice President Supply Chain, and Vice President of both Concentrate and Mining Operations. With experience as General Manager at Four Corners Mine and previous roles in operations strategy and mine planning, Swager brings extensive expertise to the mining industry. In January 2023, Swager joined SSR Mining Inc. as a member of the Board of Directors. Prior experience includes serving as Engineering Manager at Cargill Crop Nutrition and various production management roles at Cargill Fertilizer, Inc. Karen Swager holds a Master’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
