Lisa Montenegro has over 20 years of experience in various executive and leadership roles. Lisa started their career as a Human Resources Manager at EVI Technology in 1999. Lisa then moved on to ITT in 2005, where they served as the Vice President of Human Resources for the Defense Division and the global IT workforce. In this role, they were responsible for implementing HR strategies and programs to support organizational goals and coached executive leaders. Lisa also managed the HR due diligence process for a $10M acquisition. In 2012, Lisa joined EYA, LLC as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Strategy. Here, they led the transformation of executive leadership, succession planning, and reorganization. Lisa also facilitated corporate strategic planning and communication. In 2015, Lisa became an Executive & Leadership Coach at Lead-Wiser, where they work with executives and rising leaders to optimize performance and increase satisfaction with their work and lives. With their extensive experience and insider perspective, Lisa aims to help leaders evolve, transform, and find purpose in their work.
Lisa Montenegro has a diverse education history. Lisa obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland. Lisa then pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Baltimore. Moving forward, Lisa attended The Johns Hopkins University from 2003 to 2005, where they focused on Business Administration.
Lisa further enhanced their knowledge and skills through various certifications. In 2015, they completed a Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies. Later, in 2019, they obtained an Executive Certificate in Facilitation from the same institution.
Additionally, Lisa has earned several professional certifications. In 2018, they became an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coach Federation. Lisa also holds a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
Lastly, it is worth mentioning that Lisa Montenegro possesses a Top Secret Security Clearance, although no institution is specified for this certification.
