Reinhardt Joann began their work experience in 1988 as the Director of Psychosocial Research at Lighthouse International. Reinhardt held this role until 2006, when they became the Director of Research at The New Jewish Home, where they currently work.

Reinhardt Joann earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Immaculata University in 1983. From 1983 to 1988, Joann pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Lifespan Developmental Psychology at Fordham University.
