Noelle Flores Théard is a seasoned professional in photography and education, currently serving as a Senior Digital Photo Editor at The New Yorker since April 2021 and as a Part Time Faculty member at Parsons School of Design - The New School since July 2018. As the Co-Founder of FotoKonbit, a movement aimed at empowering Haitians through photography, Noelle has been instrumental in producing and leading workshops in Haiti and the Haitian Diaspora since January 2010. Prior experience includes serving as a Program Officer at Magnum Foundation, where efforts focused on increasing creativity and diversity in documentary photography from May 2016 to April 2021, as well as working as a Photographer for The Miami Herald from 2003 to 2009. Noelle holds a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Parsons School of Design - The New School, a Master's degree in African Diaspora Studies from Florida International University, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin.
