Tricia Laughlin Bloom is an accomplished art curator with extensive experience in modern and contemporary American art. Currently serving as Senior Curator of American Art at The Newark Museum of Art since January 2015, Tricia oversees the care and development of the museum's American art collection and collaborates with contemporary artists. Previous roles include Associate Curator of Exhibitions and Project Curator at Brooklyn Museum, where Tricia contributed to notable exhibitions such as Basquiat: The Unknown Notebooks and War Photography: Images of Armed Conflict and Its Aftermath. Tricia's early career includes a research associate position at The Newark Museum and completion of a Master's degree at Stony Brook University and a PhD in Modern and Contemporary Art History from Rutgers University.
