The Next Door
Dr. Ferri has served as Medical Director for The Next Door since 2018. He received his medical degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, and moved to Nashville more than a decade ago to complete his training in Psychiatry at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Ferri also completed a fellowship in Psychosomatic medicine and additional training in Addiction Medicine. Prior to his role at The Next Door, he worked full time in private practice and as an inpatient psychiatrist at Rolling Hills Hospital in Franklin. He founded InSight Recovery & Wellness, a team of addiction-trained professionals with a vision to offer gold standard care to patients afflicted with addiction in a variety of settings in the Middle Tennessee area.

The Next Door is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving women in crisis, equipping them for lives of wholeness and hope. They provide services to women who are impacted by addiction, mental illness, trauma, and/or incarceration.
