David M. Brantner most recently served as vice president of customer, strategy and growth for United Technology Corporation’s UTC Aerospace Systems, and prior to that was president of GKN Aerospace.
His earlier career included more than 20 years with Pratt & Whitney, progressing through positions of increasing authority. Notably, Brantner was vice president of group strategy and development there, and later was vice president of strategic sourcing and contracts. In May 2013, he became president of Pratt & Whitney’s $7 billion commercial engines unit, developing and certifying new engine programs and leading program management, sales and marketing.
Brantner is a graduate of General Electric’s financial management program, as well as UTC’s Darden and Carnegie Mellon business programs. He holds a master’s from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and a bachelor’s in business administration from Northeastern University in Boston.
