Scott Carden has a diverse work experience in engineering and management roles. Scott currently serves as the Head of Engineering at The NRMA. Prior to this, they worked as the Metering Solutions Lead at Ampol Australia. Scott also has extensive experience at VRT Systems, where they held various positions including General Manager, Manager - Engineered Solutions, and Senior Systems Engineer. At VRT Systems, they gained regulatory knowledge of the NEM and led accreditation efforts. Furthermore, Scott worked as a Company Engineer at Green Insulation and as a Service Engineer at Honeywell Process Solutions, where they were responsible for maintenance, repair, and customer relationships.
Scott Carden completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechatronics at the University of Southern Queensland, from 2005 to 2008. Scott also holds additional certifications including Registered Professional Engineer - Electrical from the Business Licensing Authority Victoria, CPEng - Electrical and ITEE from Engineers Australia, and RPEQ - Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland from BPEQ.
