Greg Jankord

Greg Jankord is a Senior Research Scientist at the Simulation Innovation and Modeling Center (SIMCenter) at The Ohio State University since March 2022, specializing in systems engineering and modeling for electric and automated vehicles. Prior to this role, Greg served as a Senior Research Scientist at Transportation Research Center Inc. from June 2020 to February 2022, focusing on advanced automotive research for various clients. Greg's academic journey at The Ohio State University spanned from 2010 to 2020, culminating in a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a dissertation on multi-objective control for hybrid vehicles. Additional industry experience includes roles at General Motors, Goodyear Rubber Products, and Tennant Company, contributing to projects in electric vehicle testing, race tire development, and cost-reduction strategies, respectively.
