Salih Merghani is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Energy at The Olayan Group since April 2017. Prior to this role, Salih held various leadership positions at Schlumberger from April 2006 to January 2017, including Vice President and General Manager for Brazil and Uruguay, as well as several managerial roles in wireline operations across multiple regions, including the UAE, Sudan, and the ARM (Saudi-Bahrain-Neutral Zone). Salih's career in the industry began as a Wireline General Field Engineer at Schlumberger from 2001 to 2005, following a role as Project Coordinator at Sudapet from 2000 to 2001. Salih holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Khartoum, earned between 1994 and 2000.
