Arlene Hipe-Gardley is an accomplished Buyer and Merchandising Manager at The Olympic Club, specializing in apparel and accessories for golf and sports shops, while also managing eCommerce for over 11,000 members globally since September 2018. Additionally, Arlene serves as a UX/Product Design Consultant through freelance work, showcasing expertise in user experience and product design. Previous roles include Benefits Coordinator at Williams-Sonoma, Human Resources and Benefits Assistant at Swinerton, and various visual merchandising positions at notable companies such as DSW, Forever 21, Gap Inc. - Old Navy, and Crate & Barrel. Arlene holds a User Experience Certification from General Assembly and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Notre Dame de Namur University.

Established on May 6, 1860, The Olympic Club enjoys the distinction of being one of America’s oldest athletic clubs. Long a west coast powerhouse in amateur sports, the Club is the home of many local, regional, national and international champions. Olympians compete in over 19 sports and enjoy two historic clubhouses in San Francisco: the City Clubhouse, near Union Square, and Lakeside, at the Pacific Ocean.
