Raymond Leung Yu-Chiu

Mr Raymond Leung obtained his first degree of Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Hong Kong. Besides studying for a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies in the City University of Hong Kong, he also obtained the Master of Arts in Comparative Asian Studies from the University of Hong Kong, Master of Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde, UK and Master of Social Sciences in Counselling from the City University of Hong Kong.

Mr Leung started his career in the Hong Kong Government and worked in the Labour Department, handling labour and HR-related issues, for 13 years. He moved into the higher education sector by joining the Human Resources Office of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Since then, he further developed his career in university administration. After working for the Macquarie University in Sydney, he held the office of Associate Director of Human Resources of Lingnan University for eight years, and then served as the Director of Student Affairs of the Chinese University of Hong Kong for 10 years. He joined the Open University of Hong Kong in 2018.
