Michael Magee is an accomplished educator and leader with extensive experience in the education sector. Currently serving as President of Minerva University since April 2022, Michael also acts as a Moderator for both The Aspen Institute and the Pahara Institute. Previously, Michael was the CEO of Chiefs for Change, a non-profit organization supporting education leaders, and co-founded the Rhode Island Mayoral Academies, where significant changes to education law were achieved. Michael's earlier roles include Director of the Office of Children Youth and Learning and faculty positions at both the Rhode Island School of Design and Wheaton College. Michael holds a Ph.D. in English and American Literature from the University of Pennsylvania and has completed the Pahara Aspen Education Fellowship.
