Margo Bogart has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Margo started their career at Pike Construction Services in 2003 as an Estimator, where they were responsible for estimating and costing commercial and public projects. Margo also provided budget estimates for Construction Management projects and worked closely with architects to stay within the design budget. In 2008, they transitioned to the role of Purchasing & Subcontract Specialist, where they negotiated scope and cost to maintain budget on hard bid projects. Margo also wrote front end documents and collaborated with the estimating department and the new project team. In 2012, they became a Project Engineer, where they reviewed construction documents, managed project documentation using Contract Manager, and maintained logs for submittals, ASI, test reports, and RFIs. Margo also negotiated change management and served as a communication hub between the project team and the owner. In 2015, Margo took on the role of Project Manager / Owner Rep, where they continued their responsibilities as a Project Engineer and additionally oversaw the entire project as the owner's representative.
Margo Bogart earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Construction Management from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology, where they attended from 1997 to 2003. In addition to their degree, they obtained the certification "OSHA 30" from the OSHA Safety Training Institute in May 2002. This certification is refreshed yearly. Margo also completed the "Leadership Training for Managers" program at Dale Carnegie Training in March 2014.
