Mr. Gilbert received a B.A. in the History of Art from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has served on the City of Statesville Planning Board and the City of Statesville Board of Adjustments. He is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Statesville, NC where he has served as Elder and Treasurer.
