Abd Elsalam Idris

Abd Elsalam Idris is a Senior Design Manager at Red Sea Global since July 2023, with extensive experience in electrical engineering and project management. Prior to this role, Abd Elsalam served as an Electrical Design Manager and Senior Electrical Engineer at Parsons Corporation from February 2013 to June 2023. Abd Elsalam's earlier experience includes positions as Project Manager at Sudanese Electricity Transmission Company Ltd., overseeing the Egypt-Sudan 220kV Interconnection Project, and as Department Manager of Projects Preparation & Implementation at the same company. Additional roles include Protection Department Manager at National Electricity Corporation Sudan and various engineering positions at National Electricity Corporation from June 1997 to July 2009. Abd Elsalam holds an MBA in Project Management from the University of Medical Science & Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electric Power & Machines from Minia University, Egypt.
