The Regulatory Assistance Project
As RAP’s accountant, Lynn Boynton works in partnership with RAP’s finance director to create and maintain the financial systems and procedures required for internal decision-making and external reporting. She is responsible for day-to-day transactions, payroll, banking, grant accounting, audit support, and systems maintenance.
Through her own business, which she established in 1999, Ms. Boynton provides bookkeeping and accounting services to several small business clients, in addition to RAP. Over the years, she has worked with both for-profit and not-for-profit clients. Prior to establishing her own business, she managed a small credit union, with responsibilities ranging from making deposits to approving mortgages and serving on the credit committee.
Ms. Boynton holds a bachelor’s degree in business, with a minor in economics, from Castleton State College.
