John McCall has extensive experience in social services and support roles, currently serving as a Reading Tutor at BookNook since November 2022, where innovative technology is utilized to enhance the reading skills of at-risk children. McCall has held multiple positions providing compassionate care to individuals with special needs, including Direct Support Professional roles at The Kids Workshop and Heartspring since 2014 and 2016, respectively. Additional experience includes crisis counseling at The Relatives and residential habilitation for individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries at Hinds Feet Farms. The Relatives is a system of resources that helps youth and young adults find safety, stability, and pathways to independence. Our Services: Youth Crisis Center: 24-hour facility that keeps kids safe and families together by providing respite care for runaway or homeless youth ages 7-17 for up to 21 days. On Ramp Resource Center: Empowers teens and young adults 16-24 through case management and structured support focusing on employment, education, housing, community life skills, and health and safety. Housing: Transitional living home for young men aging out of foster care and scattered site housing options for young adults experiencing homelessness.
