Sarah Collins (MCIM) has extensive experience in marketing and brand management. Sarah currently holds the role of Head of Marketing at The Rick Stein Group, where they lead brand, marketing, and communication strategies for the Stein family business. Sarah is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and Executive Committee. Prior to this, Sarah worked as a Marketing Manager at Rick Stein Group for nine years, overseeing the marketing activities of 10 restaurants, 40 hotel rooms, self-catering properties, and a cookery school across multiple locations. Sarah also developed marketing strategies, managed budgets, built partnerships, and led a team of marketing professionals. Before joining Rick Stein Group, Sarah served as a Marketing Executive at Rick Stein and Jill Stein - The Seafood Restaurant. Sarah began their career as a Marketing Assistant at Truro and Penwith College Business Centre and worked as a Visitor Centre Assistant at North Cornwall District Council.

Sarah Collins (MCIM) has a diverse education history that spans multiple institutions and areas of study. Sarah'sacademic journey began at Kirkby Stephen Grammar School, where they completed their A Levels in History (A), Media Studies (A), and Sociology (B) between 1996 and 2003.

Sarah continued their education at the University of Plymouth for four years from 2003 to 2007. During this time, Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Second Class Honors (2:1) in International Tourism Management.

Seeking to further enhance their professional qualifications, Sarah enrolled in courses at the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. From 2008 to 2010, they pursued the CIM L4 Professional Marketing Certificate. Subsequently, they undertook the CIM L6 Professional Marketing Diploma from 2011 to 2012.

To strengthen their leadership abilities, Sarah attended The Institute of Leadership and Management in 2010, where they obtained the ILM L2 Award in Team Leading.

Most recently, in 2021, Sarah pursued additional knowledge and skills in Digital Marketing at the London Business School, although no degree was specified for this particular period.

In 1975 Rick and Jill Stein opened The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow. Now over 40 years on, they have expanded their business to include 10 restaurants, a pub, a cookery school, 40 guest rooms, self catering properties and 4 shops. The business is still very much family run with Rick and Jill working with their three sons, Edward, Jack and Charlie. Eat with us We have four restaurants in Padstow, The Seafood Restaurant, St Petroc's Bistro, Rick Stein's Café and Stein’s Fish & Chips. We also have a pub, The Cornish Arms, in St. Merryn and Rick Stein Fistral. We also have restaurants in Winchester, Sandbanks, Marlborough and Barnes. Stay with us We have 40 coastal inspired guest rooms above our restaurants in Padstow as well as a serviced one bedroom cottage, Bryn cottage. In nearby Trevone, we have a self-catering cottage at Trevone Farm and in Penrose, Jill Stein's beautifully restored self-catering cottage: Martindale. Shop with us In Padstow we have four shops: a deli, coffee shop, gift shop and fishmongers/seafood bar. Our fish counter is stocked with locally landed fish and shellfish and we sell a collection of homemade items in our shops from pasties to fresh bread and chutneys and jams made to Rick's recipes.
