TaRita J. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. TaRita is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Talent & Diversity at The Right Place, Inc., a regional economic development organization in West Michigan. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Calvin Career Center at Calvin University, where they fostered scholarship and supported students in their career development. TaRita also has experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager at Meijer, a leading Supercenter, and as a Vice President of College & University Relations at KeyBank.
TaRita J. has a diverse educational background. TaRita obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology and Social Work from Miami University. TaRita then went on to pursue a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Michigan. Currently, TaRita is working towards completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at Azusa Pacific University.
In addition to their formal education, TaRita has also obtained certifications in Cultural Intelligence and Unconscious Bias from the Cultural Intelligence Center. TaRita has also received training in the DDI Targeted Selection Interviewing System and the Korn Ferry Leadership Architect from DDI | Development Dimensions International and Korn Ferry respectively.
