Mr. Vaiani is a Managing Director and member of the Africa Mezzanine Finance investment team. He is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Prior to joining TRG in April 2023, Mr. Vaiani was a Partner in Ethos Mezzanine Partners, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ethos Private Equity, which was acquired by TRG in April 2023.
Mr. Vaiani joined Ethos in 2018 to help set up the newly formed Nairobi office and build coverage of investment opportunities for the East African region. Originally from Kenya, Mr. Vaiani has broad experience facilitating and advising on sector agnostic middle market transactions whilst at KPMG in East Africa, the UK, and the Netherlands.
Mr. Vaiani holds a Bachelor in Aerospace Engineering, a Masters in Finance and is a qualified accountant (ACA) and is fluent in Kiswahili.
