Sam Hodges has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of corporate communications and public relations. Starting in 2001, they worked as an Entertainment Publicist at the BBC before joining ITV in various publicity roles. In 2009, they became the Group Publicity Manager at Channel 4. Sam then joined the Edinburgh International Television Festival as a Member of the Executive Committee from 2012 to 2015. Sam later moved to the BBC as the Head of Communications for BBC Television and BBC ONE, Fiction, Daytime & Film. In 2015, Sam joined Twitter as the Head of PR and Communications for the UK, where they played a key role in improving Twitter's reputation. In 2018, they became the Director of Content Communications (EMEA) at Netflix, responsible for content and policy strategies. After that, Sam worked as a Partner at freuds, a global communications company, before joining Aaqua, a tech start-up, as the Global Director of Communications and European Founder Team. Unfortunately, Aaqua ceased trading in 2022. Currently, Sam is serving as the Executive Director of Corporate Reputation at The Romans since 2023.
Sam Hodges has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language from Lancaster University.
