Julian Lopez is a Master of Social Work student at San Diego State University, currently serving as a Trauma Counseling Intern at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego. Julian has extensive experience in social services, including a role as a Youth and Family Services Navigator at The San Diego LGBT Community Center, where assistance is provided to transition-aged youth facing housing insecurity. Previous experience includes serving as a Therapist Intern at Stepping Stone of San Diego, where individual counseling for adults with substance abuse disorders and co-occurring diagnoses is conducted. Julian has also worked as a Residential Supervisor at Casa de Amparo, coordinating care for youth in the Child Welfare system, and as a Community Assistant at American Campus Communities, where leadership and community-building initiatives were implemented. Educational background includes a BA in Criminology, Law, and Society from UC Irvine and an AA in University Studies from Palomar College.
