Jeff Bercovici

Jeff Bercovici is a seasoned journalist with over 20 years of experience in editing, writing, and management across notable publications. Currently serving as Managing Editor at The San Francisco Standard since March 2024, Jeff oversees teams focused on breaking news, politics, business, and enterprise reporting. In addition to this role, Jeff has been working as a freelance editor and writer since January 2024, leveraging expertise gained from previous positions including Business Editor at the Los Angeles Times, where oversight included coverage of work, wealth, and the economy. Jeff's career also includes roles as San Francisco Bureau Chief at Inc. Magazine and Senior Editor at Forbes. A graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, Jeff's foundational education began at Nicolet High School.
