Chris Taylor has extensive experience within the Scottish Government, having served in various roles since October 1991. Currently, Chris holds the position of Head of Delivery & Assurance Unit, previously contributing as a Sport Policy Manager overseeing football, cricket, and bowls initiatives. In December 2017, Chris became a Senior Policy Manager and Project Manager within the Health team focused on Emergency Preparedness, Resilience, and Response, tackling significant incidents affecting Scotland's health service. From April 2015 to December 2017, Chris led the Regulation of Care Unit as Sponsorship Team Leader, managing SG sponsorship for The Care Inspectorate and overseeing the National Care Standards Review project. Chris's educational background includes attendance at Knox Academy in Haddington, East Lothian, from 1981 to 1985.
