Katherine White

Deputy Director For Fiscal Strategy And Analysis at The Scottish Government

Katherine White has extensive experience in strategic roles within the Scottish Government, currently serving as Deputy Director for Fiscal Strategy and Analysis since May 2014. In previous positions, Katherine provided strategic direction for infrastructure investment, developed the Scottish Government's Infrastructure Investment Plan, and led international outreach on climate change. Katherine also has a background in energy markets and policy development, having engaged extensively with UK Government officials and external stakeholders. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at the Committee on Climate Change as a Senior Analyst and an early career role as an Assistant Economist at the Scottish Government. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish from Trinity College Dublin and a Master of Philosophy with Distinction in Economic Development from The University of Glasgow.
