Steven Patterson has extensive experience in procurement and capacity development, with a career spanning over two decades in various roles. Currently, Steven serves as the Procurement Development Manager and Capability Development Manager at The Scottish Government since June 2007. Prior to this role, Steven worked at Glasgow City Council as a Procurement Executive from May 2005 to June 2007, and at South Tyneside Council as a Corporate Procurement Officer from April 2003 to May 2005. Earlier experience includes a position as Corporate Procurement Team Leader at Gateshead Council from September 1994 to September 2003. Steven holds a degree from North Tyneside College and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS), specializing in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions, and Contracts Management.
