Angela Wales has extensive experience in marketing and communications. Angela currently holds the position of Head of Group Communications at The Senator Group, a position they have held since 2023. Previously, Angela served as the Head of Marketing at VEKA Plc from 2018 to 2023, where they played a pivotal role in formulating strategic marketing plans and contributing to a significant increase in turnover. Prior to their role at VEKA, Angela worked at The Senator Group as a Global Marketing Manager and Brand Manager, where they successfully executed international marketing plans and launched a new global website. Angela also has experience in publicity and communications as the Publicity and Communications Manager at Burnley College, and in paint and retail marketing as the Paint & Retail Marketing Manager at Graham & Brown. Earlier in their career, they gained valuable experience as a Senior Account Manager at Workhouse Advertising and Marketing Ltd, where they managed campaigns and clients such as Graham & Brown, Akzo Nobel, Crown Paints, and Lancashire Tea. Overall, Angela Wales has a diverse range of experience in marketing, communications, and brand management.
Angela Wales graduated with a 2:1 BA Hons Marketing degree from the University of Central Lancashire in 1999. In addition, they have obtained various certifications related to marketing and leadership from LinkedIn in 2023.

The story begins in 1976 when our Chairman Colin Mustoe began designing and manufacturing office furniture. In the early days, he would even build and deliver the products to customers himself. All these years on and although we’ve grown into one of the largest office furniture manufacturers in the world, we remain an independent, family-owned business. All the things that were important to us in the beginning; our attention to detail, integrity, investment in people and passion for design, are still very much running through the veins of our business today. We’re a family-owned, independently run, global design-led business. As one of the world’s largest designers and manufacturers we have one core purpose, to design furniture that improves the lives of our customers. This purpose means we design furniture we believe in. It’s our objective, our benchmark. It ensures every piece of furniture we design, we care for, we question and we refine. We do all of this to ensure every piece stands the test of time.
