Caitlin Johnston currently serves as General Counsel & Chief People Officer at The Shade Store since February 2024 and has been an Advisor at Story Ventures since March 2021. Previously, Caitlin held the position of SVP, Deputy General Counsel at Peloton Interactive from March 2017 to March 2023, where oversight was provided for a legal department comprising over 50 professionals across six countries, addressing various business and legal matters. At Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP, Caitlin was an Associate specializing in licensing, strategic partnerships, and commercial transactions from February 2015 to March 2017, and began career as an Associate in the Sourcing & Technology Transactions Group at White & Case from October 2012 to February 2015, focusing on intellectual property and data privacy issues.
