Richard Fung

Co-founder, CEO at The Six Semiconductor

Richard Fung has a diverse work experience starting from 2000. Richard began their career at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology as a Course Instructor in 2008. In 2000, they joined AMD as an MTS Design Engineer and later became a Manager Analog Design. At AMD, they managed a team of 9 engineers and was responsible for designing various IO interfaces and PHYs. In 2012, they joined Peraso Technologies, Inc as a Director of Silicon Engineering. Richard then founded their own company, The Six Semiconductor, in 2018 where they hold the position of Founder and CEO. Additionally, Richard served as the President of R.E.C. Consulting Inc from 2012 to 2019.

Richard Fung pursued their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Engineering from the University of Toronto, completing their studies between 1996 and 2000. Following this, they continued their education at the same institution and earned a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Electrical Engineering, which they obtained from 2002 to 2008.
