Marcelina Oosthoek has had a diverse career in various companies and positions related to diversity, inclusion, talent development, and leadership. Currently holding the title of Community & Subject Matter Expert at Better Society Academy, Marcelina also has experience as a Strategic Consultant and Founder at NextGen Work, Consultancy Leadership at Alps Studios, and co-Founder of TalentLab Torino. Marcelina has also worked in policy and strategy roles at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and De Nederlandsche Bank, while also serving as Regional Manager at the American Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands. Marcelina's educational background includes a M.Sc. in Film Media Theater Science from the University of Amsterdam.

As of today, The Social Hub is operating in 16 European locations: two hotels in Amsterdam and one in Barcelona, Toulouse, Madrid, Berlin, The Hague, Delft, Vienna, Groningen, Eindhoven, Maastricht, Rotterdam, Paris, Florence and Bologna. The Social Hub’s total locations amount to 25 hotels, with 18 currently open and seven more opening in Lisbon, Porto, Rome San Lorenzo, Florence Belfiore, Turin, San Sebastian, and Glasgow by 2025.
