Riya Sikand

Riya Sikand is a distinguished scholar and leader in STEM education, currently serving as a New Jersey Governor’s School Scholar and a World Science Scholar. Riya has been actively involved in various initiatives, including the roles of Northeast Policy Researcher at Dear Asian Youth, 2023 Junior Staff and 2022 NJ HOBY Ambassador at HOBY Youth Leadership, and Civic Innovation Fellow at Civics Unplugged. Riya founded Girls Explore Math and Technology and serves as a Teen Leader at the New-York Historical Society. Additionally, Riya is an AI4ALL Changemaker, having participated in prestigious programs focused on artificial intelligence at Stanford University and as an Inspirit AI Leadership Fellow. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at Harvard University, Riya's commitment to addressing complex challenges through advanced mathematical skills and civic leadership is evident throughout diverse educational and extracurricular experiences.
