Nicolas Vitiello is an experienced professional in power unit performance and calibration within the motorsport sector, currently serving as the F1 power-unit performance/calibration leader and trackside engineer at Alpine since January 2022. Responsibilities include overseeing the 2026 PU F1 calibration roadmap, coordinating calibration teams, and providing remote support during test sessions and race events, with notable trackside roles in various F1 Academy and race teams from 2023 to 2025. Prior to Alpine, Nicolas worked at Renault Sport Racing as an F1 power-unit system control engineer, focusing on ICE control strategies and performance improvement initiatives.
